Ambong Ambong located on the southern part of Langkawi Island, a 25 minute drive from Langkawi International Airport and half an hour from Kuah, the main town, where the ferry terminal is.

Unlike many resorts Ambong Ambong is secluded without being isolated. Step out past the gate posts and a short distance away gastronomic options abound with lively restaurants serving local and international food, cafes and bars in Jalan Pantai Tengah and Jalan Pantai Cenang, beyond.
Sun, Sea and Sand
Pantai Tengah which has the longest and finest beach on the island, is a very short, 5-minute walk away. About 1km long, the relaxed ambiance and warm clear waters that are safe for swimming, making this the first choice for guests of Ambong Ambong.

Ten minutes down the road you will find Pantai Cenang bustling with activity. Pantai Cenang offers various water sports such as jet skiing, banana boating, parasailing and snorkeling as well as diving lessons. The livelier bars and tourist attractions are also located along this stretch.
For those who wish to venture further, Langkawi is surrounded by many smaller islands, including several islands which are part of Thailand.
